Mike Wadden, Physiotherapist

A graduate of Dalhousie’s School of Physiotherapy in 2002, Mike’s focus in practice has been orthopaedics and manual therapy where he has completed the Level 1 Diploma for Advance Manual and Manipulative Therapy. He has also completed the Work Conditioning/Functional Capacity Evaluation through Roy Matheson & Associates and continues his education in the manual therapy field. Mike is an avid sports participant and has been involved with basketball coaching in the local area. Mike was a member of the 2003 World Junior Hockey Medical team and has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association for several years.

John Boudreau, Bsc. (Hons), M.Sc.PT, Physiotherapist

John arrives at Reid Physiotherapy after completing his Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2008. Prior to moving to Toronto, John spent four years at Dalhousie University in Halifax where he completed his undergraduate, honours degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry. John brings a wide variety of knowledge to Reid Physiotherapy including first-hand experience in paediatric and geriatric care, intensive care unit training and neurological rehabilitation. John will be working closely with the Workman’s Compensation Board of Nova Scotia in the care and rehabilitation of individuals who have been injured while on the job.


Nadine Russell M. Sc. O.T., Occupational Therapist

Nadine comes to Reid Physiotherapy after completing her studies at Mc Master University in 2007. She has a previous Fine Arts degree from York University where she majored in dance, and brings with her a long history of dancing experience. Nadine’s focus will be in industrial rehabilitation, vocational assessment, ergonomics, job site analysis, seating and positioning and home accessibility.

Karen E. Roberts Bsc. OT, Reg (NS)
Occupational Therapist

Karen is a 1991 graduate of St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a 1994 graduate of Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.  Karen has 12 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist.  Karen has diverse experience including long-term care, outpatient, and acute inpatient assessment and treatment. Her specialized skills include hand therapy, work reconditioning, job site analyses, and ergonomic assessments.  Karen has specialized experience in Industrial Rehabilitation and has completed both her professional residency in Ergonomics and Industrial Rehabilitation through Roy Matheson and Associates.  Karen is certified in Key Functional Assessment system.  Karen is also certified in the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills, which is a standardized assessment of both ADL and IADL functioning.

Karen is currently employed as a full time care coordinator with the Nova Scotia Department of Health -continuing care branch.  Her responsibilities include the ongoing coordination of the Specialized Equipment Program in partnership with the Nova Scotia Red Cross, and authorization of special needs.  Karen is also responsible for the ongoing assessment and case management of home care and long term care clients within the continuing care program.  Karen works on a consultant with Reid Physiotherapy.

Lorna O’Grady Bsc. OT, Reg (NS)
Occupational Therapist

Lorna graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. She has 17 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist and has practice in a variety of settings including acute care, long term care, rehabilitation and private practice. Lorna has specialized in hand therapy, seating and mobility, job site analysis, ergonomics and home accessibility. She has a keen interest in Geriatrics, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia care.

In 1996 Lorna was selected as one of five Occupational Therapists across Canada to participate in the Pilot Project by New Horizons, Alzheimer’s Canada and The Canadian
Association of Occupational Therapists to determine effective means to care for individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia’s in their own home. In 1997 she was one of the contributing Occupational Therapists to the book “At home with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia” by Carol Bowlby Sifton. In 2002 Lorna also completed a Master Series in Advanced Myofascial Releaseunder the direction of Barry Jenings and Michael Shea.

Lorna’s role as an Occupational Therapist with Reid Physiotherapy will focus on industrial rehabilitation, vocational assessment, ergonomics, job site analysis, hand rehabilitation, seating and positioning and home accessibility. Lorna will also provide Occupational Therapy services to the Veteran Affairs Canada office in Sydney.

Debbie Madore, Consultant Dietitian

Debbie has provided dietary programs for Reid Physiotherapy for the past 10 years. Her role includes individual and group education sessions and nutritional planning and supervision.


Michael Bryson,
Clinical Psychologist

Michael owns and operates Bryson Consulting Services and provides psychological services to all clients at Reid Physiotherapy. Michael’s role includes the Workers' Compensation Board’s Chronic pain program and individual psychological assessment and treatment.


Karen Hurley, Office Manager

Karen has been with Reid Physiotherapy for 7 years and brings with her 10 years experience in all aspects of private practice physiotherapy services. Karen is primarily responsible for all aspects of our computerized billing system and company policy administration.
